Thailand Beaches – Introduction

The first reason why most tourists choose to holiday kingdom of Thailand – is its heavenly beaches. Those tourists who come to this country from other experiences are also not miss the opportunity to soak up one of the beaches of Thailand. Not surprisingly, because the beauty and uniqueness of Thailand beaches are world famous!

Many areas and islands are the territory of the national parks, so the nature of these places remains virtually untouched by man. At different times on the Thailand beaches were shooting the famous cinema and commercials. It should be noted that all of the beaches in the country are mainly sandy.

The sand on the city beaches is ordinary, not shallow. Sometimes the garbage can occur, but in the evenings sure to clean the beaches. The water is always warm, but not very clear.

On the islands you can find a very diverse beaches. There is also noisy, crowded, with many shops and cafes where you can have fun both day and night. But there are also quieter with secluded coves and bays, where you can feel hidden from prying eyes.

Thailand Beaches: Pattaya

In the popular resort town of Pattaya in Thailand has several beaches, which stretch one after the other along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand: Pattaya Beach, Jomtien, Hat Toei Ngam, Hat Nang Rong, Chomthian, Wong Phra Chan, Dongtan, Hat Thian Tail Nang and Hat Ram.

Pattaya Beach is located in the central part of town, along a busy street, where are shopping centers and markets, rich nightlife. Therefore, this beach is the most populous in Pattaya, you can meet all kinds of people from all over the city.

Jomtien Beach is located just south and is also quite popular. But this beach is noticeably cleaner, and especially pleasant walk along the beach in the evenings. Other beaches are located on the outskirts of the city or close to them and are the most calm and clean throughout Pattaya. Some of them are protected and have the entrance fee.

The beaches of Hua Hin called royal, and it’s not by accident. Back in the 20’s of the last century, the King of Thailand Rama VII began construction of his residence at Hua Hin, since so admired the beauty of these places.

Samet Island loved by tourists because of its tropical and green park beaches. The most popular of them are located in the eastern part, it is Hat Sai Kaew  and Ao Hin Khok. This gorgeous white sand, clear warm sea, and along the beach, restaurants and bars are located. More wild beaches are in the southern part of the island.

Koh Chang Island has collected a wide variety of beaches, each with its own distinctive character. There is a wild and totally deserted beaches and very popular, where people come to relax, not only for tourists but also locals. The most favorite beach holiday is the White Sand (White Sand Beach). Its popularity does not prevent him look like a pristine beach of the jungle, which is what makes it special.

Krabi Province, in my opinion, is the best place for the wild beach holiday. Why do I call this a wild beach vacation? – Because this is where people rest on towels or on the sand.

Many beaches of Krabi are not equipped beach areas with sun loungers and umbrellas, protecting from the sun, but it is in Krabi you can find the best places for privacy.

I advise you to visit the following beaches in Krabi: Railay Beach (East and West), Phra Nang Beach, Koh Poda.

Separately, you can visit the island Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Lay. It was on one of these islands is a fabulous Maya Bay, where the shooting took place the film “The Beach”.

As I advise to visit Bamboo Island on the way from Krabi to Phi Phi Islands.
